New Year’s Ambitions

Hello, my beloved creative critters!

Wow, what a whirlwind it’s been since my last update. First off, I want to sincerely apologize for missing December’s blog—life threw a few curveballs—but I’m back and more energized than ever to share this exciting new chapter with all of you. Your patience and support mean the world to me, and I promise, the best is yet to come!

As for my presence on my socials (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Bluesky), I want to be honest with you. The main reason I’ve been a bit quiet lately is that I’ve been navigating pregnancy. I’m nearly halfway through it, and honestly, it’s been quite a journey.

Since October 2025, my energy levels have taken a noticeable dip, and at first, I was pretty nauseated. As a one-woman show trying to juggle all my responsibilities, it’s been challenging enough with the three other kids running around, let alone managing the exhaustion and discomfort that come with pregnancy. Sometimes, just getting through the day feels like a victory.

I truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. I want you to know that even when I’m quiet online, I’m still dreaming, writing, and pouring love into my stories. I promise I’ll be back with more updates, content, and excitement soon. I’m just taking things one step at a time.

Writing and creating this story has been an emotional rollercoaster. There’s no way I can fully put into words how much love, sweat, and late nights went into bringing Fall From Heaven to life. But guess what? The story doesn’t end here. Oh no, it’s only just beginning. I’m thrilled to announce that Book Two — Rise From Hell is already in the works! Yes, I’m diving headfirst into the next installment, aiming to have it published later this year. That means you won’t have to wait long to continue this epic journey. I’m so excited to keep you all hooked and immersed in this world I’ve poured my soul into.

Now, let me share a little behind-the-scenes of my ambitious plans for 2026. I’ve set some bold goals because I believe in dreaming big and in myself. Here’s what I’m aiming for:

1. Write approximately 1,000 words a day to keep the creative momentum flowing.

2. Attend five incredible Utah conferences to connect, learn, and grow as a writer:

- LTUE (February 12-14)

- StoryCon (February 27-28)

- Writers Cantina (July 17-18)

- FanX (September 17-19)

- Dragonsteel (December 3-5)

I hope to publish two books a year from 2026 through 2030. It’s a lofty goal, but I’m fueled by passion, determination, and all the love I get from you. I want to inspire, entertain, and maybe even challenge you with stories that resonate deeply.

These goals are about more than just productivity; they’re about investing in my dreams and becoming the best writer I can be. Thank you for believing in me and supporting this journey. I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store!
